Two document flows in two weeks

We spent July with the workflow projects in Office 365. For one of the clients from the public sector, we implemented workflows automating incoming correspondence. The process archives messages from Outlook e-mail, assigns them to a sharepoint list, then the operator assigns tasks. The circuit with the concept and tests was created in a few hours 🙂

 

Another project for the logistics industry is dividing the sharepoint site into departments. The circulation of documentation begins with the assignment in the office. Then, depending on the value thresholds of the documents taking into account the exchange rates, the document undergoes single or double approval. After full approvals, the system transfers the documents to the accounting department, creating PDF forms required as an attachment to each invoice.

 

Office solutions will never replace dedicated, industry solutions, but thanks to Power Automate or Power Apps, we can quickly digitize processes while maintaining the relation between the costs of software development and maintenance.
